What is worth your time? And what's your criteria with which you answer that question?
The sayings and aphorisms are plentiful: time is money, health before wealth, lost time is never found again.
But time in and of itself is a tool. Admittedly it's a tool seemingly outside of our control, but it remains a tool nonetheless. And like any tool, it can be used to construct and destruct; towards meaningful growth and towards aimless meandering.
So how can we truly measure what is worthy of our time? What should we be using this tool for?

Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was once told by our beloved Messenger ﷺ that his faith would not be complete until he realized a love for the Messenger ﷺ more than he loved himself. Umar left and returned after a short while and professed that he had realized this love.
How?
Umar's son, Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them both) asked his father this question and he responded: I realized that on the Day of Judgement, I will not be able to save myself from the torment of hellfire, but I know that the Messenger ﷺ can intercede on my behalf and for this I love him more than I love myself.

Now, when asked what is worth our time, how can anything compare to worship? Worship that brings us closer to God. Worship that brings our station in paradise closer to our righteous forefathers and companions of the Messenger ﷺ, that brings us closer to the Messenger ﷺ himself.
How do we measure time's worth? We measure it against an eternity. Is what I am doing bringing me closer to God? Is it elevating my station in paradise? Is it distancing me from hellfire? Will I be grateful for having spent this hour in worship, or lamenting over it when I stand in front of God?
Time is malleable and with enough barakah (blessings), you can accomplish in a day what can take a week. Don't be deluded into thinking you have no power over time. Time is a tool, and if you use it well, you can grow, build, and be satisfied with your station in paradise. If you abuse it, you will destroy yourself in this life and in the next and no one will regret your loss more than you will.
May Allah ﷻ put barakah in our time and allow us to realize the highest level of paradise where we are neighbors to his beloved Messenger ﷺ and we can invite him over and sit with him and our mothers to glorify God together.
